We may ask you to verify that you control the Account before completing a deletion request.

2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Deleting your Account initiates deletion of personal data associated with that Account, including, as applicable:

  • account and profile information;
  • conversations, prompts, notes, and journal entries;
  • stored Memory and personalization data;
  • uploaded files, images, and other User Content;
  • account preferences and settings.

Certain limited information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.

Residual copies may also remain temporarily in system backups until overwritten through normal backup lifecycle processes.

3. Deletion Processing

Verified deletion requests are processed within a reasonable period consistent with applicable law and Gemora's normal deletion procedures.

Where data must be retained for a permitted purpose, Gemora limits retention to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

4. Data That May Be Retained

Examples of information that may be retained after account deletion include:

  • billing or transaction records required for tax or accounting purposes;
  • limited security, fraud-prevention, or abuse records;
  • information required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce legal rights;
  • temporary residual copies in system backups.

Retained information is not used to continue providing the deleted Account with the Service.
