Gemora uses various third-party services, libraries, and technologies to provide you with the best possible experience. This page provides transparency about the external services we rely on and the open-source software that powers our platform.


1. AI & Machine Learning Services

Configured AI providers may process prompts, context, files, or voice inputs when needed to provide AI-assisted features:

  • OpenAI: GPT models for natural language processing and intelligent responses.

2. Cloud Infrastructure & Hosting

Our infrastructure is built on reliable cloud platforms:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Primary cloud infrastructure, compute, and storage services.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Additional hosting, CDN, and backup services.
  • Vercel: Frontend deployment and edge network for fast content delivery.
  • Cloudflare: DDoS protection, CDN, and security services.

3. Database & Storage

  • PostgreSQL: Primary relational database for structured data.
  • Redis: In-memory data store for caching and session management.
  • Vector Databases: Specialized storage for AI embeddings and semantic search.
  • Cloud Storage: Secure file storage for user uploads and media.

4. Authentication & Security

Security First: We use industry-standard authentication and security services to protect your data.

  • OAuth 2.0 Providers: Google, Apple, and other identity providers for secure sign-in.
  • JWT (JSON Web Tokens): Secure, stateless authentication tokens.
  • TLS/SSL: Encryption for all data in transit.
  • bcrypt: Secure password hashing.

5. Payment Processing

Note: We never store your payment card details directly. All payment processing is handled by secure, PCI-compliant third-party providers.

  • Stripe: Primary payment processor for web subscriptions.
  • Apple App Store: In-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS.
  • Google Play Store: In-app purchases and subscriptions on Android.

6. Analytics & Monitoring

We use analytics and diagnostics to understand service performance, reliability, and feature usage:

  • Firebase Analytics: App usage and performance analytics.
  • Google Analytics: Website traffic and user behavior analysis.
  • Sentry: Error tracking and performance monitoring.

Privacy: Analytics data is used to improve the service and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of certain analytics through your browser or device settings.

  • SendGrid / Resend: Transactional email delivery.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Push notifications for mobile apps.
  • Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): Push notifications for iOS.

We have Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) in place with our key service providers to ensure your data is handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including:
